Positive: Lovely hotel.. remind us of the olden days…room fronting the lake with priceless mountainous view !

Negative: Yes the facilities is a bit dated but that is the charm…

Positive: View from window. It was clean. Great service! Thank You for helping with taxi and keeping my luggage all day. Nice natural! Onsen. Rooms are up to date.

Negative: It is a little bit outdated(stairs are awful!). Onsen seen better days(but this is part of the charm) On plus side they really try to make it look good.

Positive: Great view, large Japanese style room. Onsen was good, gave us a gift of bread when we were leaving

Negative: Front staff were grumpy because we got there before checkin, we only wanted to drop off our bags, then his attitude changed Smell of sewage in the shower/toilet Would of been good to have the option of breakfast for the amount that we paid Expensive, but all hotels in the area are the same price..
