Positive: Brilliantly located amongst the very pretty and quaint Sauze town. Everything you need is a short walk away, including shops, bars and some fab restaurants. Sarah was so helpful before our arrival and during our stay. She certainly gave a lovely boost to the trip and nothing was too much trouble. The selection of wines available were really great and perfect for an apres or pre-dinner drink and situated in the newly refurbed lounge area which has been done so well. Really like the B&B approach as can’t be bothered self catering in the mornings and found the breakfast to be just right. Some health in the fabulous prepared fruit salad and we particularly loved the banana soaked oats. Just what you need and want after all the Italian mountain food. Definitely want to return!
Negative: As a traditional building some will find the rooms quite small, but as only in there to sleep it really doesn’t matter. The beds are firm so may not be to everyone’s preference but we were ok. And not a problem to have a second pillow which makes all the difference for how we like our sleeping!
Summary: So lovely to return to Sauze and had a brilliant stay with Sarah’s help!

Negative: I like a firm bed but the beds were very hard and you could feel the springs. They were very good and gave us an extra duvet to go underneath the sheet. The proprietor is going to request new mattresses for next season apparently.

Positive: We loved staying at Gran Trun. It's in the pretty old town of Sauze, a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. There was a free car park nearby. We stored our ski kit at the Clotes lift, so had a 5-10 min walk to get our stuff. The hotel has a cosy, atmospheric bar and dining area, we enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choices and flexible re allergies. Sarah was so helpful and welcoming so it was a pleasure to sit at the bar in the evening and chat to her. Our room was spotlessly clean and had all that we needed. We would definitely stay again!
Negative: Can't think of anything! Sarah is such a helpful host that I'm sure if there was something you needed she would sort it out for you.
