Summary: Fantastic experience and definitely recommend this quaint hotel. It used to be a mansion to a rich aristocratic family (von Löw), who then became a poor aristocratic family and the building fell into disrepair. Completely renovated by investors 27 years ago, but a lot of the original features remain. Property has easy parking and is located just outside of Butzbach; easily reachable via the A5. Easy access to Frankfurt. We had an amazing, friendly, and very attentive host. Restaurant and bar on the property. The restaurant had a one-page menu, but the meals on it were all excellent. I certainly would stay there again.

Summary: This is a great small hotel in a quiet little suburb. The staff were friendly and the service excellent. The breakfast was excellent and our room was quite spacious and well appointed. We were very happy to stay there 4 nights. The parking area is a little cramped if the hotel is full, but it is on site and included in the price, which are great benefits. The only downside is that there are really no restaurants other than the hotel restaurant within easy walking distance. There are a number of excellent restaurants in Bad Nauheim, approx 4-5 km away, but none within an easy walk. Of note is that this is not an accessible hotel. There is no elevator and there are stairs everywhere. If you have mobility issues, this would not be suitable.

Summary: This historic hotel is in the heart of Steinfurt, a quaint village near Bad Nauheim, known for its ROSES. Our room was enormous, clean and comfortable. The managers were very kind and caring. We enjoyed our breakfasts, but even more, our beers and bratwursts in the charming beer garden at the rear of the property. Due to Covid, the cellar dining room was not yet open, but it was a beautiful space. We did not have a car, but it might be advisable as the town is small and it does not have any other restaurants, supermarkets, etc
