Positive: An extremely beautiful hotel. The breakfast is elegant, varied and delicious. The location is fantastic, close to Interlaken Ost station. The treatment and services are second to none. We thank the staff for their hospitality.
Negative: This review is not about the hotel or its services, but rather expresses my personal opinion. Some of the artwork was installed before we left the hotel. The number of paintings is relatively large, and I found the wall more beautiful before that.

Positive: Exceptional service and superb amenities defined this stay. The staff were outstandingly kind and flexible, handling an unforeseen issue with grace and professionalism. Their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort was truly exceptional. The hotel balances its status as the town's oldest establishment with modern, fully renovated rooms that are beautiful. Our room featured two separate balconies offering gorgeous, multi-sided mountain views. The in-room amenities were thoughtfully provided, including a refrigerator, a kettle, designated storage for luggage, and a lovely welcome of complimentary chocolate and wine. The bathroom design was excellent: the shower door closes fully (a welcome rarity in modern hotels, it seems), and the included toiletries were high quality and avoided wasteful single-use plastics. The location is amazing, right in downtown Interlaken, and parking was plentiful nearby. Finally, both the on-site restaurant and the fantastic included breakfast were great.
Negative: This was an overwhelmingly positive stay, and improvements are limited to minor personal preferences. Given the high standard of the hotel, an upgrade to bathrooms to include a bathtub (rather than just a shower stall) would be a luxurious addition. For in-room entertainment, providing more robust international channel options or HDMI/casting capabilities would greatly benefit guests by offering better viewing choices.

Positive: Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Negative: Like all European bathrooms, the bathroom/toilet is a stupid design. The bathtub is too deep making it difficult to get in or out and lack of grab handles made it risky. And what’s with half glass to prevent water from spraying out? Again this is common across Europe. Can’t they learn from America? Much of the shower water falls outside the tub.
