Summary: Hotel was ok, but not very suitable for families - no kids club or playground or any kind of activity for kids. My boy was very upset when we went to the spa Center and he was not allowed to enter, so whole family wasn’t able to use it! Shame for a 4* hotel in this price category

Summary: It was our wedding night and we requested a late check out but we could only stay an hour longer. Also we picked this hotel because of the spa but its closed on sundays so we couldnt use it, I dont think a hotel that presents itself as a spa hotel should have a spa that isnt open every day. Also on their website it sayd that the breakfast is until 10:30, but it finished at 10 sk we missed it. Rooms are very simple and dark. 100% would not stay there again.

Summary: The hotel is a bit pricey for the experience. The room and bathroom could use some upgrades. It seems like they want to give an impression of luxury, but it feels more like a conference center. The breakfast is way overpriced.

Summary: Staff is friendly. Lobby and bar are pretty. Breakfast is overpriced and mediocre. Room is very warm and no fans or air circulation.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at Hotel Island - the concierges were great! Security was good - pass keys for the elevator, and a safe in the room. Brunch was available and the service and food at restaurant was very good, but wasn’t always open according to their posted hours. The housekeeping was adequate. The hotel is well situated to a pharmacy, grocery story, tech store where we bought local SIM cards, a 24/7 grocery store, Sculpture Museum where we got our City Passes which included free entry to many attractions, including the nearby pool with hot tubs, steam room. It’s a short walk to the bus stop, where you can take a bus into centre centre. And there are many relatively inexpensive (for Iceland) restaurants nearby. Hotel Island was a great choice for us!

Summary: Really good and walking distance to the city. But the SPA and Gym was not included. Only by a surcharge per visit. The gym was why I chose this hotel, hm. But everything else was ok.
