Positive: Facilities: We liked that our rooms had aircon and our own bathroom. The breakfast spread was also ok. Staff: We were very thankful to the owner’s son (we assume) for being very helpful to us with figuring out some tickets that we needed to book online. The owner’s wife also helped us book one taxi for our group as we were leaving
Negative: Facilities: There are no access ramps, you have to carry your luggage up around 15 steps at the hotel entrance. There’s no wifi available inside the guest rooms, only on the ground floor. The hallways in the upper floors are scorching hot from the summer heat —They don’t even open the windows for air ventilation so it feels like you’re in an oven. Staff: The concierge woman was a little rude when we arrived. They need to refine their housekeeping room check protocols, there’s incessant knocking even when people are clearly asleep or are inside the bathroom. Lastly and most importantly, we were confused as to why the hotel picked us up from the train station when we arrived, but refused to drop us off at the station when we were leaving. Only one taxi was available that day, which they helped us book, but the hotel van was just idly parked at the front. No one was using it. Pulling all of our luggages for half a kilometer in the middle of summer at 12 PM, is the last thing you want to do after a tiring weekend at Fuji Rock. It didn’t feel right after having booked 5 rooms in the hotel —or even if it was just one room
Summary: Ok for a last resort option for Fuji Rock. It’s still a 40 min drive to the festival grounds

Positive: Location was very good, very close to the ski lift. The facilities were good.
Negative: There was a huge amount of snow, so the car park was difficult to access. However, we ended up parking at the Ski lift car park for free which worked ok. The room was a little small (typical for Japan) but it was big enough for bags etc.
Summary: I would stay here again.

Negative: Had to climb a flight of about 10 steps to reach the hotel. Tough to bring up luggage especially for seniors.

Positive: Everything was great, a little cold outside. But the room had good heater. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was delicious. We stayed 2 days and the food varieties were different. It was great experience to stay here.
