Positive: The location was perfect. 10 minutes walk from the bus stop & 5mins walk to bars, restaurants & the port. Lia, was an amazing host. She couldn't do enough for us. A light breakfast was available each morning on at no extra cost. The Kastro Hotel is a magical place to stay. We will be back!

Positive: We loved the ambiance thanks to the abundance of plants, flowers and tasteful decor. We had a studio with a large seating area outside.. It's an old building (I think) but well maintained and very pretty. It's a small boutique hotel and what it offers is an intimate, pretty space to enjoy and a lovely roof area where you can relax on the loungers. A small self-service breakfast is available to enjoy in the floral passageway. Pretty fairy lights and background music complete the picture. Thank you Lia and your lovely unobtrusive staff who were so helpful. Very Instagram-able!!
Negative: The shower had to be hand held and flooded the floor as the curtain wasn't long enough. Please consider putting the shower spray on the wall.
Summary: Very pretty hotel that doesn't feel like a hotel.

Positive: The staff is super super supportive! They helped us navigate smoothly to the place and made sure we are well served with food as soon as we arrived! The location is right at the promenade where all the main action takes place. Excellent!
Negative: Rooms could be a bit bigger- but the location is so good it makes up for it.

Positive: The hotel is 1 minute away from the main street, situated in the old town, but despite the fact being that close to the main road where all the shops and restaurants are situated, it is very quiet, and everything is designed on the exterior and the interior of the hotel with good taste. We were upgraded to a room with double bed, even if we have reserved a room with 2 beds, Every morning it is served a small breakfast.
Negative: The room we were given was situated on the ground floor, right in front of the small cafeteria where the breakfast is served, and starting with 7:00 am in the morning we were hearing everything happening for the breakfast preparation and all the tourists that were picking up the breakfast, if you want some quiet time try to avoid room 102. Another downside was that they are advertising free parking, that this is not an option, we were told there is a near parking which would cost us 10€ per day
