Positive: The area was very pretty though we got a heavy impression of faded glory from the town. It still kept his charms though and we visited a lot of amazing places all around that were driving distance, mostly castles which were pretty well maintained. In the evening we had a very nice walk following the river and there were no loud noices to disturb the tranquility of the place.

Negative: We found 5 spiders in the room; 2 above the bed in the hollowed out part of the ceiling where the lights were, 1 in the drapes, 1 on the inside of the windowsill in the main bedroom and another in the 2nd bedroom's windownsill. To be fair, we didn't alert the staff as we had the impression they were already somewhat understaffed, it was summer and a window was open that was surrounded by grapevines when we came in, so they might have been recent additions to the room.

Positive: The location was absolutely wonderful! We were in a beautiful historical building facing the very scenic Mosel. We woke up to the view of the vineyards, we ate breakfast with a view of the Mosel and vineyard facing us. It was wonderful. Breakfast was included in our price. The breakfast was above and beyond! They thought of everything. In the evening we were able to sit out on the patio and relax with a beer before supper. The evening meal menu was also excellent. They did not charge us extra for our dog. I look forward to staying there again. We are already talking about our next visit!

Negative: Nothing; it was all good!

Summary: Our stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly and kind. The accommodation was a bargain.

Positive: like many places in this area it's all a bit old, luckily our rooms were a bit newer. the food in the evening was okay, simple but okay like often in Germany

Negative: like this whole area, hotels, houses etc. everything needs a cleaning and painting, feels like 1988

Positive: Good location in very nice village nearby vineyards. Some nice restaurants nearby.

Negative: Room was good size but cold. Water of shower was cold. It seems that the best days of the hotel was gone many years ago.

Summary: Very nice little village just next to Mosel -river. Need to make a reservation to another hotel.
