Positive: good location and comfortable beds. Friendly staff.

Negative: value for money is not very good... tourist town, so it's overpriced. Room doors do not seal well, so you can hear lots of noise from the street. Being a tourist town, this can be an issue if you value quiet nights. Breakfast is a bit limited.

Positive: Lovely courtyard, close to city centre, pretty colonial style room.

Negative: No hot water. Very loud -- cars with very loud music until 4 a.m. A bar nearby that might have been resonsible for some of this huge noise all night. I'd asked for a quiet room, but we were placed at the front of the hotel. Perhaps a room on the other side, away from the bar across the alley, would have helped. We liked the look of the hotel, the nice little coffee shop, and the central location, but these other factors made our stay fairly unpleasant. The little breakfast also was quite minimal. A piece of toast with no butter. Jam provided. Poor cup of coffee, weak, and only with coffee mate provided as milk. No tea offered for one of us, as preferred. Yogurt and fruit were fine.

Summary: A nice hotel that needs attention to the areas I've criticized.
