Positive: Hotel La Zoologie is a beautiful building, tastefully decorated with respect to the original building and its purpose as a zoological department and with subtle modern twists. Our stay was relaxing, the staff were friendly, the hotel was spotless, the terrace was relaxing, the room was very comfortable and peaceful and the location was perfect for the old town and a short (20 minute) walk into Centre Ville.
Negative: Everything was great. This is not a criticism but a suggestion…I enjoyed using the fitness centre , it would be nice to have some heavier free weights above 4kg- maybe a selection up to 10kg would be good. This is just personal preference and in no way detracts from my stay.

Positive: I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely fab—so friendly and helpful from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better with a bus stop right outside the door for easy access to the city centre, and it’s just a short walk from the train station too. The hotel itself has such a lively ambience and is beautifully decorated throughout. My room was a decent size, very comfortable, and well-kept. After a hot day exploring, the rooftop bar was the perfect place to unwind—so chilled and relaxing with great views. Highly recommend!
Negative: My only tiny complaint would be that the pillows were a bit too soft, but everything else was just perfect. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Positive: Beautiful building. Bed was very comfy. Friendly reception staff. Good self service breakfast. Room with bath was lovely and bright. Location was good for transport services and walking into the centre.
Negative: Surrounding area was grim. We booked a room with a balcony, but were given one with a bath. Reception apologised as we weren't sent an email asking for our preference. Fortunately a room with a balcony was available and we were able to move when we came back later that afternoon. Room with balcony was very dark.
