Positive: Great location on the square, friendly welcome and easy parking in the underground carpark which is about 50 paces from the hotel.

Negative: The room overlooked the bars and restaurants in the square so noisy until 2am, it wasn't a problem for us but might bother some.

Summary: Small, welcoming traditional hotel in the heart of beautiful Dreux.

Positive: Very friendly and great location for an overnight stop on our way to Bordeaux.

Negative: Only thing was no restaurants open on a Sunday, even in August. Obviously not the hotel’s fault!

Positive: It is situated in the central square making it really good for bars and restaurant choices. The underground car park is great and very reasonable for a central location. Our room was cosy, cute and very clean. We were only here for an over night stop as driving up through France but was a perfect little find in a very pretty town. Highly recommended. Despite us trying out our French, the host speaks great English too. Breakfast was continental with the option of freshly cooked eggs. Suited us perfectly. Thank you and we will head to you again in the future.

Negative: Be aware that there is no lift so you may have a few stairs if you are on the 3rd floor. It wasn’t an issue for us though
