Summary: I enjoyed staying at the Leo for3 nights but it was nothing stupendous.The front desk personnel were the best. They were very friendly and helpful. I had one of the histirical rooms and they are very small, barely room to turn around in the bathroom. The room was clean but the bathroom could have used some chalking around the tub and rust renmoval. The bed was very comfortable. The clock in the room did not work. I was most unhappy that the restaurant was only open on the weekend and no breakfast was included. They are however central to many restaurants and we had many good meals while there. Most restaurants are however, not open on Mondays or Tuesdays but we searched and found. Also very central to parks, arboratuems and museums.

Summary: First time staying here it’s a historical building. Great location downtown. The only real gripe I had was the beds are practically on the floor, so getting into bed and out of bed was kind of a pain in the ass The hotel staff were great(Caleb and my morning guy who I forgot his name) very accommodating helped me out with my stay

Summary: Leo is a very fun, charming, throw back hotel. The staff is great, rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The bar is very cool and the location is great, right in the middle of everything but also with parking and it is quiet.

Summary: I always stay here when I go to Bellingham. There is nowhere else with a better location, the staff is amazing. It's an old hotel, so it's got its own personality, but I love that.

Summary: The hotel had some great history and character, but was updated in the ways that mattered. The furnishings were vibrant yet elegant, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel room bed I've ever encountered! Parking was a bit challenging and inconvenient, but the stay was worth the walk. Wish I'd been able to arrive earlier or stay later to enjoy the hotel for a longer time.

Summary: I stayed at this hotel on a solo trip because it was in walking distance to all things downtown and thought I’d ‘treat’ myself to the best room instead of staying with many friends in the community who offered. I travel weekly for my job, staying in hotels and hardly ever write reviews. Unfortunately, this hotel needs much improvements. First it feels like they used furniture, from the old folks home it used to be, but tried to be more modern at the same time with other pieces thrown in, it just didn’t jive. Outdated furniture for sure! I also thought, based on photos and descriptions I was getting a room with a full kitchen and on the water side of the building, not the parking lot. This turned into an argument with the front desk telling me I was wrong, although they just updated the room descriptions a few days prior. The kitchen had no pots, pans or anything to cook with using the full stove and oven. The bathroom was clearly for a wheelchair, so be careful walking up the ramp. And the shower, clearly for wheelchairs, definitely didn’t have a shelf or anything for personal items to be placed. The hotel was certainly not worth the money I paid and the customer service was just poor - it wasn’t even worth explaining the issues to staff, because each time they just argued what I said. Not a place with a warm or welcoming vibe, sadly. But the community seems to already know that, my bad for giving it a try 😿
