Summary: Waiting too long at receptionist, over 30 minutes to check in.

Summary: I rarely give a bad review but my hubby and I were very disappointed in this property. Dany, on the front desk, had passed her stress threshold and wouldn't stop complaning. Our hohum room had a loud drippy tub faucet, no (none!) available tv channels. We managed to get a room with no view whatsoever, dispite the photos. Parking the car was good and plentiful. No place at the resto, told not to even bother. Fortunately we bought ourselves a picnic and enjoyed the amazing view from the property's green area. Thank god! The 2 housekeeping ladies were a joy, we met at our departure, after the shoddy treatment the night before. Buyer beware! The price demanded at this property for our toom was outrageous. $40 more than a beautiful room we stayed in the previous night.

Summary: As part of a tour of the Gaspe' in late September/early October, we stayed in Perce' for two nights. This is a classic-style motel, which could just as easily be single-room occupancy (without kitchen) in another location. We stayed on the second floor, above the nearby beach and with a direct view of Peace' Rock and Bonaventure Island. The hotel has laundry facilities and there is a very nice restaurant( Maison Mathilde) for breakfast and dinner just adjacent. It is about a quarter-mile from the center of Peace and well-away from any noise or traffic. At night, the caretaker always had a fire pit lit and it was a good way to end the day, overlooking the Bay and listening to the waves.

Summary: Property is right next to the beach with the side view of the Perce Rock. The room is just a sleeping room with a tiny bathroom with a big glass window overlooking the porch and the 'rock'. Typical old-style accommodation, but it's clean and with a fire-pit and chairs outside to spend some good time facing the sea and the rock.
