Positive: This hotel has plenty of charm and authenticity. Very efficient and helpful staff on front of house (Agnes - merci) Good breakfast selection

Negative: Overall the hotel is in a bad state of disrepair and needs major renovation especially the floors, windows, the pool area, the spa area - I am fine with “antiquity” but not things being broken or dirty. There were power cuts every 20-30 mins throughout our stay :-(

Positive: Big room with antique ambience, beautiful fireplace, and a feature canopied bed that was very comfortable. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was self service but a huge selection of stuff. The restaurant, L'auberge d'Antan, was excellent.

Negative: Our room was on the first floor and there was quite a lot of noise from the room above - I guess this is a disadvantage of the beautiful wooden floors.

Positive: Outstanding rooms, beautifully presented in a delightful setting. Classically French with good parking. Great breakfast.

Negative: The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed, which was a shame. That said there are adequate alternatives a short walk away in town.

Positive: Beautiful setting about 10 minutes walk from the center of town. Historic chateau property and my room was in the attic. Huge space very clean and quiet. There is also a pool but it was closed for the winter. Would be a nice spot on a warm day. Nice welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. It’s a lovely hotel.

Negative: Maybe nice to have some tea/coffee/water in the room?
