Positive: Clean & comfortable in a great location to explore Lake Iseo & the surrounding area. A lovely restaurant with fabulous staff and very reasonably priced. Food and wine were excellent!
Negative: There was a plumbing issue in the bathroom but once reported it was resolved very quickly.
Summary: A fabulous holiday, loved Lovere and more reasonable than other parts of Italy

Positive: The wellness spa was very good but I didn't realise guests had to book in and pay an additional cost. Breakfast was nice and there was a good choice available. There was a very friendly helpful waitress. The family room was pleasant (and enormous).
Negative: The pictures are misleading. I was expecting beautiful views of the lake but I didn't see the lake from the hotel at all. There is a dilapidated building in front of the hotel and mesh on the dining room balcony both of which obscure the view. I was surprised that guests do not automatically get to use the wellness centre for free. It is not cheap! But it is very nice and worth a visit. Some of the reception staff were a little cold and standoffish. The hotel is an odd layout inside. There are a mixture of offices and rooms on the ground floor and the dining area upstairs and the wellness centre tucked away down a corridor and a separate lift. Its like a maze and easy to get lost.
Summary: Its fine but the pictures are misleading!

Positive: Excellent hotel. Large spotlessly clean room, ours had a balcony overlooking the lake. Free bike hire and car park. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Pinocchio restaurant overlooks the lake where you can sit outside, weather permitting. The Spa is very relaxing with sauna, steam room, ice shower, pool and reclining sun loungers...robe, flip flops and towel provided. The staff were pleasant, attentive and very helpful. Short walk to the ferry for a trip on the lake. About an hour into Bergamo on the bus. I always stay here when in Lovere. I highly recommend this hotel.
Negative: Absolutely nothing.
