Summary: I chose the hotel purely based on location (close to Huxley’s Neue Welt). Upon arrival the hotel exterior / front looks a bit odd, and same with the need to take the elevator up to lobby on 2nd floor. But once you get there, everything is fine. I experienced an all-friendly staff. The room was super spotless clean. Good breakfast. The outside backside garden is the gem here - a nice place to enjoy both sun and shade.

Summary: The room was clean with AC even if a little outdated. However, the staff was horrible. On my check-out day, they kept coming (3 times) starting at 9:30am for me to leave the room so they can clean it even though check out isn't until 11 am. It's not the best way to wake up on a vacation day...

Summary: We enjoyed 5 night stay at the Hotel Ludwig van Beethoven during our recent vacation in Berlin. This little hotel is just a real gem! We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The room was clean and spotless, the breakfast buffet was one of the best you'll find in Germany for an inexpensive hotel, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel and will stay there again on our next visit to Berlin!
