Positive: I liked that the breakfast was included. Then staff was very kind, aimable and attentive. There was a cat also that come and greet in your room when you arrive and when you leave.
Negative: I suggest the owner to be more friendly and say hello to clients.

Positive: Great staff, cool neighborhood. Included breakfast is always a major plus!
Negative: Felt like we could feel every spring in the very thin mattress, but we knew it was a bargain hotel and didn't particularly expect much better. Very plain and humble room, and the door lock was a joke. Parking was a bit tricky -- we ended up going around the block a few times then parking a few blocks away only to learn they had parking available at the property. All the spots out front when we arrived were taken so there wasn't a good spot to temporarily park to check-in. However, eventually a spot opened up and we were able to successfully parallel park in front of the hotel where we felt security would be good enough.
Summary: Good bargain, and you get what you pay for

Positive: It is located very central to go to restaurants and bars in Barrio Escalante, and the street was safe enough. The room was big and the staff were nice. The breakfast was really tasty and the restaurant is nicely decorated.
Negative: The bathroom in the room had a lot of mold on the ceiling and walls so it made the whole room smell very strongly to humidity. Also the window didn’t close completely and since the hotel is next to the train tracks, it was loud.
Summary: A centric decent place if you don’t mind the noise and the smell
