Positive: Hotel is in very special place with very special seaview over the Gulf of Naples and you can see Vesuvius over the gulf. Poolside wasn't open as we were slightly before the season. But we have been there before and it is really nice place to hang on a sunny day. The rooms are not luxurious, but you forgive that because of the view and reasonable pricing. Rooms were very tidy though.
Negative: As the view from the balcony is something else, the location isn't that great. There's no safe roads to walk as there's no proper sidewalk and the traffic is continuous. So everywhere you go, you have to go by car. Which means you spend 30 minutes driving 5 kilometers, because the queue is just brutal. So eventhough the city of Meta is quite near, you can't have nice 15 minutes walkabout there for a dinner or a glass of wine. You're not allowed to have pizza or other meals in your Megamare room and there weren't a restaurant in the hotel, so you feel like a prisoner there. Hopefully you can have some dinner there when the season starts. The hotel staff weren't the most positive-minded although they were really helpful. Breaksfast staff was great and helpful 😊

Negative: Breakfast was basic. The rooms were very outdated. The bed wasn't comfortable. Had to hand in the key to the safe every day... What's the point of having a safe then? Got woken up by the neighbors (room next door) smoking.

Positive: It was an absolutely amazing place with a view. Parking is great. The room was small but cozy. The hotel has an interesting retro atmosphere.
Negative: I would see the noise as a minus. In the room you could hear a lot of sounds from the corridor and the surrounding rooms. This prevented a good night's sleep. The breakfast was only basic, but with pleasant service.

Positive: View, service, pool...All were perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful, the cleanliness was superb, the room was serviced daily (cleaned, tidied) in a manner resembling 4/5 star hotels. Additional info: Shower always had hot water. Parking was plentiful and easy to park. A/C (Air Conditioning) worked perfectly. View from room was spectacular. If you are visiting with a car this hotel is perfect.
