Positive: The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our mornings. It had an extensive selection, from fresh pastries and fruits to made-to-order omelets. The food was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were always friendly and quick to clear our plates. We Loved the pool area A great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Wonderful beach always clean and quiet. Service stuff always welcome us with simile and quickly prepared drinks. Bellboys were friendly to us helped with smiles. Special thanks for general manager and restaurant manager
Negative: Upon arrival, my room had several issues including spiders and a dripping air conditioner. I reported these problems to the reception twice, but no action was taken. The receptionist I spoke with seemed distracted, as they were always on their phone. Additionally, the hotel's drink selection was limited, and the quality of the cocktails was poor.

Positive: We planned to visit Oludeniz and searched for hotels on booking.com. We booked this hotel firstly because it was really well priced at the time of booking and had good reviews regarding its recent refurbishment. The hotel is just a few minutes drive or about 20 mins walk from the main Oludeniz beach, shopping streets and restaurants. Meaning that you also have easy access to the services operating around Oludeniz, such as paragliding providers, water sports and tours/excursions etc. The transfer from Dalaman airport is approx 1 hr 30 mins. There is a convenience store right outside the hotel where you can get snacks, toiletries and beach/pool accessories such as snorkelling equipment, goggles, floats etc. Meri Hotel is the last hotel on the Oludeniz beach strip so isn’t overlooked by any other buildings. The exterior of the hotel has been renovated to a high standard, the pool area seems to have been the biggest part of the recent renovation, the area looks good and the pool itself is a good size. Next to the pool is a small lawned garden area with lounge chairs under trees for shade, this is a nice addition, walking down from there is the stretch of private beach which is also really nice. There are two outdoor bars, run by helpful and friendly staff. The entire hotel is enclosed with mountains surrounding it on all sides making it feel really private and unique. There are plenty of sun loungers. Between the pool area, the lawned area and the beach, I don’t think I saw anybody without a lounger at any time. We spent four days at the hotel and the food each day was different, varied and delicious. Outside of the breakfast, lunch and dinner timings, there are afternoon snack timings for things like burgers, pizza, fries and ice cream. Drinks served at the bars are great and the alcohol doesn’t taste ‘watered down.

Negative: The hotel sells rooms to high school students as a package for the weekend. In other words, while you are dreaming of a quiet holiday, they suddenly bring high school students to the hotel in groups. Loud music, screaming high school kids, and you never have a chance to relax by the sea. Also, food has limited option and always cold …also limited drink and even no real orange juice .. all was package juices ..
