Positive: The hotel is located in a historic building and has been recently renovated in great style. The rooms are spacious, very well equipped, and well designed. The bathroom is again spacious and beautiful. The beds are comfy. Breakfast is served in the restaurant or in the courtyard: fantastic.

Negative: We could not park at the hotel due to festivities. Normally parking is behind the hotel

Positive: The location was great - easy to get to the market, restaurants and the canal. Short walk to the train station too. It was a very quiet location.

Negative: The bed was 2 twins pushed together made separately - the crack in the middle was annoying. The pillows were a bit stiff - not great for a super comfortable sleep. The greeting by hotel personnel was luke warm at best. We arrived early and while they kept our bags at the desk, they did not put them in the room for us when the room was ready - we did it ourselves. At check in, there was no explanation of the hotel or the surrounding area - we figured it out on our own.

Positive: Right in the town centre with free secure parking. Attractive room, spacious, 2 chairs, large shower room with Clarins products provided. Breakfast excellent. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is exceptional.
