Positive: The view was marvelous. The concierge was excellent what a sweet young man, he's so very good at his job. An all right option for an afoordable quick stay. Make sure you have checked out the room thoroughly before it get's too late, to do anything about any issues.
Negative: It was very Basic breakfast. The coffee was excellent. Pre-packaged danish, un cut fruit. Italy doesn't really do breakfast! It was VERY small. It's such a tiny little place squished in behind a beautiful restaurant, we walked right passed it, then realized we over shot. The TV didn't work, at all. There was no cover/duvet/or bed spread nothing just a sheet. I guess it's in a drawer somewhere. we didn't find it. I put all my clothes back on sometime in the middle of the night, after getting too cold. The pictures were missleading for our room, they were stretched to make the room look larger.

Positive: The location was excellent, and we were given a clean room with a sea view. The hot water was fantastic, and the air conditioning provided both heat and cold, which was important for us since we came in winter and the room was very warm. The value for money was more than satisfactory. The staff, especially the young man at the front desk, was very friendly. Even though we asked him billion questions about the city, he answered them all, including recommendations for places to eat, etc. He was very helpful in every way. As two women, we had a very comfortable stay.

Negative: Not clean blanket/ bed. Broken hairdryer Small toilet and room. Very tiny if its a matrimonial bed. Window to the back street where there is a bar and the back of a kitchen

Positive: The location was amazing in the heart of Rapallo. Lucca on the front of house was so friendly and helpful, thanks Lucca
Negative: In need of a. Complete refurbishment. Shower was very poor, it took ages to get hot, it leaked and door was hanging off, plus it was so shabby, not good. There was a kettle in room which was great, but no cups, no spoons ! How you supposed to make a drink? The cleaners chucked some clean towels in but didn’t clean ?
Summary: Great location, friendly staff, but this hotel is in a major need of renovation/refurbishment.
