Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It's a little far from Kumano station, but it's possible to take a local bus, or walk the 2 kilometers through a special pedestrian tunnel. This hotel is very close to the Onigajo rocks, so convenient if you visit those like I did, twice! I had a seaside view from the hotel and it was very nice.
Negative: Some flying insects came in through the window even though it was closed all the time, so I guess there is a small gap.

Positive: This hotel is really wonderful! The staff were all so genuinely kind. It's best to reach this hotel by car, but the parking situation is very easy and convenient. The views from the rooms are beautiful and my stay at this hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The attached restuarant has delicious dinner and breakfast buffet options, too!

Positive: Very clean Professional staff Very good onsen. For male and female(according to my partner) Nice view from the seaside room. Location in Kumano is good, there is the connection with the village through the breathtaking onigajō cliffs and also a walking tunnel. We also did a day trip by car to Nachi from here. There was also a little foldable table in the room to have tea and food.
Negative: If I need to say something the room was rather small. Because we didn’t need two beds (140ish and 120ish cm) But actually no complaints.

Positive: Excellent location for Kamono Kodo. Small room with beautiful views of the sea. Breakfast and dinner were good. Staff did not speak much English but translate apps worked fine when needed. We came and went from nearby Odomari station and after checking in we did loop walk over the pass and around the coast walk without packs in about 2 hours
Summary: Great location stay for a lovely walk
