Positive: I plan a biannual function for our Regimental Association for retired soldiers. Everything is great, All staff are very friendly from the junior waiters/waitresses/bar staff all the up to the senior managers and event coordinator.

Negative: some of our committee were in the function suite early setting up our regimental property etc. To save us going back home we were allowed early check-ins, but this cost £10 each room.

Summary: Great modern hotel, with excellent facilities.

Positive: Lovely refurbishment, very clean and good food in the bar.

Negative: My allocated room over looked busy roundabout and generator, was very noisy and couldn’t sleep. Coffee at breakfast was poor.

Positive: Lovely stay at Hotel Nineteen overall. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, my initial room had a strong damp, drain-like smell, which wasn’t ideal. However, I spoke to reception and Ebony was absolutely fantastic in resolving the issue quickly and professionally. She moved me to a new room which was perfect, so a big thank you to her for being so helpful. The hotel also has great parking and a really lovely café and diner, which adds to the experience. The only thing missing for me would be a gym, which would make it even better. Overall, a great place to stay with excellent customer service.

Negative: Room 25 had a horrendous smell.

Summary: A lovely stay overall, made even better by excellent customer service from Ebony.

Positive: The check in was easy and the lady on reception, who we remember from last time was really friendly. The room was very clean and the bed nice and comfy. We liked the fact that breakfast was a buffet starter and then we ordered a freshly cooked breakfast, instead of the buffet type where the food can have been keeping warm for ages.

Negative: A hairdryer in the room, but having said that you could borrow one from reception. There wasn't anything else that was a negative!

Positive: The staff in the bar were very nice and helpful. The food was very good however options for children was extremely limited.

Negative: I had to get a hair dryer from reception which could only be described as completely inadequate. The pressure of the air was extremely poor it took a lifetime to dry both mine and my daughters hair. The body wash is not a nice scent i felt it was likened to washing up liquid. There is no shampoo and conditioner as standard which i think is really poor for the price pais for the room.
