Positive: Very comfy, clean and with a great view over the water. Restaurants and bars within very short walking distance. quiet night and the room is invinting for longer stay. We will happily return!
Negative: I found the breakfast limited and very basic for the price paid for the room.
Summary: excellent and beside that we were very lucky with a gorgeous weather!

Positive: I loved the picturesque Veere.
Negative: The pictures on Booking made it seem the hotel was in the old fort, while it was on the Kaai, which is fine in itself if it is clear. Also, the hotel room had neither air conditioning nor a fan. Having paid 300 euros for one night to spoil my daughter, I was a bit disappointed. We had a good laugh finding a side table big enough to stick in the window to keep it open so the room could cool down a bit, but it was not what I had hoped, as I had taken her to what was presented as a fancy place.

Positive: Beautiful location, views. Historic building in the heart of Veere. Room very nice.
Negative: Check in was ok, but rather irritated lady as we checked in at 19.00 after a long drive and there check in finishes at 17.00! Breakfast was quite poor.
Summary: Veere is an idyllic but highly touristy place. But extremely beautiful. Happy to have been there.

Negative: We received an “upgrade” as we had a dog following a call with the hotel, but this was on the Kaai (so outside of the hotel). They could have mentioned that as it did not feel as an upgrade.

Positive: It is wonderful to stay in beautiful Veere in a hotel with so much history and charm. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect.
Negative: Please let us know before we arrive that electric cars can charge without having to have a permit in the lot next door between November-February.
Summary: Comfortable and celebrational (husband’s birthday - love Veere, particularly the Scottish history).

Positive: Great hotel at a beautiful location in the heart of Veere. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. Staff were very helpful with the parking. Veere charges 50 euro per day for parking close to the hotel so be aware where to park! The hotel has a couple parking spaces so do ask them to arrange parking.
