Positive: The new owners have got quite the project on their hands revamping this hotel! I loved the conversation I had with her as she explained her vision of a zen garden, and the spa she wants to open! I am quite sure it will be absolutely beautiful when she’s done & I wish her all the very best! As for the room,,, the linen on the beds was very soft & comfy. The towels in the bathroom too were soft and smelled lovely & fresh!
Negative: Even though she was incredibly generous to upgrade our room at no charge, sadly it meant we were right beside a room that was occupied by what I think may be her current “help”??,,, and though polite enough it also meant each time we went out we were met by one of them smoking right outside,,,,,that was quite the turn off I’m afraid 😞
Summary: The lake view is spectacular & hopefully this hotel will be very busy in the future!!

Positive: Since I was just enroute, the location was adequate. There is construction on site as the property is definitely upgrading. For a summer stay on the lake it is most accommodating. Though the room is small it is equipped with all amenities for an extended stay --refrig, micro, dresser, coffee makes etc.
Negative: need to close the curtain for privacy but it blows open if using either heat or air conditioning

Positive: The new owners were very friendly and are upgrading the property. Lakeside views and relaxation areas and events/parties are in the plans.
Negative: The roof is being upgraded and workers started early. This is short term.

Positive: We had a warm welcome upon arrival. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed seemed new and was very comfortable. I have read negative comments and I really don't understand. The owner was very caring and did everything for us to have a nice stay. Do not hesitate to book this hotel, if you are in the area!

Positive: The location, and the scenic view. Room decoration looks nice. It would be good attraction in summer
Negative: the inner sheet was not well prepared, and the rooms looked older than the price paid for the room compared to the local hotels, I was not sure if the Jacuzi was sanitized or possible to use. The room was cold even I was expected to be coming and it took all night to get into the temperature I could feel warm. There was no phone in the room to call reception and I was not going to dress up and go for clarification on how to change TV channels ( I could only get one channel) and/or the seek answers about why the fridge was not working.
Summary: Not very pleased compared to paid price
