Positive: The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. It is a very attractive property that is very close cafes and restaurants. The beds and linens were quite comfortable. We appreciated having the shuttle to transport us to and from the airport.
Summary: I highly recommend this property.

Positive: Beautiful hotel in a well renovated old bank building. They have a bar (which is great!) inside the old bank vault. The hotel lobby and rooms are beautiful. The bed was large and comfy and they provide bath robes. There is a K-cup machine and free Cava and water waiting for you in the fridge but no creamer. You can walk to everything downtown, and there are lots of restaurants, bars, shopping opportunities, a science museum, the park along the river, etc. The parking lot fills up but there is plenty of free parking around.
Negative: The bathroom could use an exhaust fan. Also, it would be nice if the refrigerator had a proper freezer.

Positive: Rooms were very large; beds very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. The food at the restaurant (not affiliated with the hotel but in the same building) was superb! We had free parking on site.
Negative: The decoration of the rooms was a little much: lots of silver colored fake leather... but it's just a matter of taste. They did not serve breakfast, but there was an amazing diner a block away.

Positive: I love the ambience and feel of the hotel. The renovations done years ago were so well done that they'll be timeless. You get the benefit of the historical charm, along with the upgrades to modern conveniences and style so it's the best of both worlds.

Positive: This is a wonderful historic hotel. We stayed here because it is less than 2 blocks from the theatre. We stay here to see the plays that are showing. It's a short, safe walk in the evening after the play to get back to the hotel. The hotel is an old bank and when you walk into the lobby, you can still see the giant open bank vault. The room was spectacular, clean, the beds incredibly comfortable. It is right in the little downtown heart of Sioux Falls where much is going on and there are many places to eat, shop, have coffee and people-watch. There is a lovely diner a block away, the hotel is right on the river and if you are into the arts, there are sculptures all along the street with a map you can download.
Negative: Parking is tight but doable. Most people up here have big trucks and ours was a bit of a squeeze.
Summary: Perfect, comfortable, historic stay within walking distance of the arts, shopping and dining.
