Positive: Liked the location close to the harbour and beach. It’s a classical italian hotel so everything works well and is clean. People were very friendly.
Negative: As we booked late and it was the absolutely busiest time of the year we got one of the last rooms which was decent but for the price i would have wished to be bigger and maybe with a terrace but that’s not really the hotel’s fault. The breakfast was a lot more varied than usually in Italy but i think they almost overdid it but if you love sweet breakfast you will be very happy. The quality of the prepared foods was so-so. But that’s also me being very picky about food.

Positive: The location nearby the Stromboli port and the town centre, the view from the room over the port and the beach, it is interesting to see the fishermen in action and observe the boats. The bed was also comfortable and the terrace is equipped with chairs and little table
Negative: The linen were old, some with holes. The room was not clean (hairs found in the shower), towels were not properly cleaned up (some spots were still visible), the bathroom was also quite old. The air conditioning was smelling and we thought that the filter may have not been changed recently so we decided to leave it out which was uncomfortable in the summer season. The breakfast provided a lot of choice but the products did not look fresh, the bread was gummy and we opted only for the sweets (croissant and cakes). The coffee machines were also old and coffee was not good. Given the above the price is too high for the level of service provided.

Positive: We have used Ossidiana multiple times for our visits to Stromboli, It is a great location for exploring the town of San Vincnezo, Its a little far from the start of the volcano climb but is close to the local restaurants. Overlooking the bay at the front and the volcano at the rear, A great place to be
