Positive: I enjoyed sitting out in the well-kept garden, but it became too chilly at times to swim. The grounds were very attractive, like an "oasis" away from the city streets. I didn't partake of any meals onsite.
Negative: The TV was difficult to manage, between the two remotes. I gave up several times after trying and getting "sin señal" too often. At times, too, I found the air conditioning was directed towards the bed and it got rather chilly as a result.
Summary: I am quite pleased with what I discovered: friendly staff for sure and pleasant surroundings.

Positive: Very nice hotel, spacious and bright rooms. Most rooms are small suites. The hotel interior is made of marble and terracotta, very beautiul making you feel more like you are in Rome than Mexico.
Negative: Like so many hotels in Mexico, there was the scent of 'drains' in the air from time to time.
Summary: This was my second stay; I intend to return.

Positive: The room was nice and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was huge and a good value for the money. The pool area and grounds were beautiful.
Negative: We didn't have any issues.

Negative: Room service was terrible. We ordered a plate of chicken wings and 2 salads off the menu at 2 pm in the afternoon. Super simple order right off the menu ,we did ask for any changes to be made. The chicken Caesar salad was actually a garden salad with croutons, dried out chicken pieces and no dressing...Garden salad with chicken had no chicken nor salad dressing and there were no chicken wings. We asked the front desk who to speak to. We were directed to the kitchen. After talking to 3 different staff we were told to return in an hour and talk to the front desk manager to receive a refund. We returned to find that we needed to talk to the kitchen manager but he had not arrived. They did however say they would rectify the issue. We checked out 3 days later with no refund and no answer to our situation. The hotel is very nice but avoid the room service
