Positive: It was old school - well built- solid- thick walls- everything that was meant to work did work - I loved it - bit like staying in a museum- if you want a bland chain hotel you will not like this place

Negative: Nothing- there is even a water fountain outside where you can fill your bottle for free - come on

Summary: Lekeitio is amazing - please don’t tell anyone

Positive: Historic building in superb location, overlooking the main square and very close to the beach, restaurants and harbour. Nice views over the church.

Negative: Breakfast not available in hotel, but very close by is a cafe/kiosk with amazing views over the beach and the town. The tortuous drive through the hills is not for everyone. Parking (outside town) should have been explained. Although you can drop off bags outside hotel.

Positive: It’s a 17th century building in a historic area with superb view. The bed is comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The lady at he reception went out of her way to tell us what we shoul check out and where to eat.

Negative: We could hear a bit our neighbors walking around and there was no brush to clean the toilet with.
