Summary: This is not a “luxury” property but is a tremendous value. Rooms are clean and well kept. The view is the main attraction here. If there’s a prettier view on this island I’ve not seen it. Well worth the money!!

Summary: Very sad to leave this hotel. Great hotel, very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you and everywhere spotlessly clean. Breakfast was yummy and the evening meal was very good value. Loved having a pool, particularly in the immense heat and especially loved the little thermal pool outside our room. Amazing views of the castle too. The old town is a hilly 10 minute walk away. I enjoyed the walk back but it may challenge some. However the hotel do provide a courtesy taxi 9pm until midnight. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Summary: Relaxed and cozy and with a lovely view of the bay. 5-10 minute walk from the waterfront and great restaurants. 20 minute walk from city center in Porto. Very friendly and helpful front desk service! Would recommend for families.
