Positive: 24/7 tea and brownies were such a welcome surprise when I arrived after a long day cruising on the fjords. The staff were so nice, really felt like a guest in their home. The breakfast was amazing. Perfect small room for a solo traveler and felt very safe.

Positive: Loved the feeling of the hotel, it felt like home away from home. Great breakfast, loved the fact that you offer tea and cake in the afternoon especially as it was very rainy and cold during my stay.
Negative: The single bed is very small, normal standard single should be a queen size, but the bed was very comfortable and I did sleep very well.

Positive: This is such a sweet and cozy hotel. I stayed in the annex across the street, in a single room with a single bed. It was cozy and comfortable. The decor in both buildings feels so homey. I loved the tea and brownies readily available and the soft music playing. The breakfast is amazing too.
Negative: My room was directly above a person working with bike rentals outside, so it wasn’t really quiet until late afternoon. Not a big deal though, with window closed.
Summary: Cozy stay with a Norwegian homey feel made me feel welcome.

Positive: Historical,beautiful building, breakfast was very good Location: museums and Grieg-hall nearby Room and bathroom very clean Comfortable bed
Negative: Sound isolation between rooms is not very good Stairs - no escalator: this was not problem for me, but for some people this is important There is no air conditioning in the rooms - so in hot summertime this might be a problem
