Positive: Location: our room was in the annex 'Le Nereidi' and overlooking the beach and sea, with a little balcony. Great view ! Also, the place is quiet enough, despite a few teenage parties at the beach club below - stopping promptly at midnight :-) and the continuous sound of boats going to and fro the port of Massa Lubrense next door. All in all a fine place.
Negative: For three days the staff failed to get the airco fixed, while it was scorching hot outside. However we did manage to get by. Funny ps: when the airco was finally fixed, the warm water was out for a day... Not a cheap place in the high season, almost 200 euro/night incl. breakfast. Then again, on next door Island Capri you easily pay a 100 more per night and normally we would come in late autumn or springtime and pay significantly less. as experience shows (as well as having less crowd and still excellent - not too hot - weather).
Summary: Excellent location, nice people, good breakfast, not too crowded. Some airco troubles, a bit pricy.

Negative: The distance from places eg town centre - we overlooked checking this when we booked Some staff were very disinterested in assisting guests. Breakfasts were not great and the staff again were unhelpful or made everything seem like an effort for them.
Summary: Don’t rule this hotel out and definitely visit the local port

Positive: The hotel is very charming, and quiet with sea views. We requested twin beds and as the hotel was fully booked we didn't get but the staff was friendly and brought us a complimentary prosecco. The breakfast views are amazing
Negative: The room was not really cleaned, we found the soap from the previous client, also the bed mattress was moving a lot. The pictures of the booked room did not match the room we got. Another downpoint was there there were almost no taxis and no bus on Sunday, so we had to walk for 25 minutes uphill with our suitcases to get on the first bus. The hotel did not provide any transfer or taxi. So I really recommend you to hire a car if you are going to the hotel or make sure to not check in/check out on a Sunday.
