Positive: Rooms were pretty clean. Breakfast was standard and decent. Check in and out was very smooth. No rooms for five, so had to book separately. Location is great, about 30mins from Hallstatt, though I must say this little town is better than hallstatt. Good pub, kebab shop and bakery nearby.

Negative: Some of the balcony areas were a bit sticky on the floor. No one on site after-hours, so a bit difficult if you have an issue. Parking is a 5-10 min walk away at the school if the 4 spots in front of the hotel aren't available - we got a notice from the local authorities (?) that we couldn't park at the school, hotel management do take note of this

Positive: The room was clean and good-sized. If you come early for breakfast, you can have a good, filling breakfast.

Negative: In this hotel everything is self check-in and every entrance works with a card. Good if you want to come late, but in our situation we have very bad experience. We got two cards and didin't know that one is not working. We left one card and phones in a room and went to sauna, but when we try to come back to our room, we saw that our card is not working. We tried to contact the staff from other guests phones, but the staff told that nobody comes to help us to enter the room till the next day morning. It was 18 pm, I am pregnant, without food, water, money and most importantly without the medications I have to take every day. You just can imagine how bad experience it was. Recommendation for staff: in such a large hotel, an employee must remain on duty, because you never know what trouble may happen to the guests. Or at least have a contact person available who could help at any time of the day.
