Positive: Gym: One of the best hotel gyms I've experienced! The only thing missing is a leg curl capable machine but it has an well considered selection of machines, decent weights selection and cardio machines. I didn't try the hamam (steam room) or dry sauna. Breakfast: Great breakfast in a restaurant with sweeping harbour views. Rooms: Rooms were better than expected. My room was carpeted while that of a colleague was not so there seems to be that option (although I don't know if you can choose at the point of booking or check in or whether it's luck of the draw). Air-conditioning worked a bit too well and I couldn't figure out how to increase the temperature. Location: Convenient location for my needs but not a very lively part of town.

Negative: Welcome: The reception area is shocking (warm and somewhat claustrophobic) but don't let that put you off. The hotel is pretty good. Bed: The bed was a little soft for my liking but far from bad and definitely not "too soft". I slept so well that after 6 nights, I was looking for the bed's brand. Room amenities: They didn't replace the tea bags/coffee sachets in the room so I had to hunt for teabags mid-afternoon/early evening for my tea. Location: During the day, you can hear the sounds of the city but it's not too bothersome. At night it's so much quieter that it's no bother at all. No/few restaurants nearby. Connectivity: Internet was patchy but speeds sufficient for work purposes including video calling
