Positive: The location is simply amazing. We were there in May and the room had a view of both a river and the Alps. We had a room with 2 bedrooms and it was very big and comfortable.
Negative: I didn't like that during the hour of breakfast you can't even buy a coffee from the machine (if you haven't paid for breakfast and just want a coffee...)

Positive: * spacious room * clean * great location * quiet * great water pressure * free parking * girl on reception was lovely
Negative: * no coffee/tea facilities in the rooms * on-site coffee machine produces horrible coffee and they are €1.50 and no change is given if you use a €2 coin. Also, no cups were available and reception was closed so I had to use plastic drinking glasses. In the morning, I had to ask for cups as they weren't refilled. * having to dress and leave my room to go down to reception for horrible coffee is reason enough to never stay here again. Sorry. * balcony is shared with other rooms (no partition/separation. * all parts of the hotel, excluding the room, smelled horrible.

Positive: Decent location for exploring Eibsee - Zugspitze - Füssen. The view from the balcony is to die for. The hotel has an elevator as well which was quite helpful to get to our room on the second floor. The lady at the reception was very sweet and helpful
Negative: Our stay had two rooms and only one of them had the room heater in it.
Summary: The view is worth every penny

Positive: Beds were super comfortable, rooms are spacious, breakfast was lovely and we had a spactacular view of the mountain. Staff were super efficient and helpful.
Negative: Had an issue with the shower overflowing, but management quickly assisted us to sort the issue out. We had a shared bathroom between two bedrooms - would have appreciated a key to lock both doors when bathroom was in use.
Summary: Old-school charm with stunning mountain views.
