Summary: If you want a cheap place to stay then this is it. It’s not modern or fancy but it was clean which is really important. The bathroom is very dated and everywhere is a little tired. The shower was pretty rubbish but it was hot :) I didn’t use the restaurant I just went to the pizza place round the corner and took it to my room, there is also a bakery nearby too It was fine for the two nights I stayed there for work but I wouldn’t want to stay for any longer really Just treat it as a cheap place to stay and you can’t go wrong - if you’re after more than that then look elsewhere

Summary: Very basic, but good quality stayover facility near Cologne. The village is right at the center of a chemistry park, so not that great, but as for a brief stop over en route to further destinations it works well. Breakfast is as can be expected from a German hotel, which is simply good. Rooms are basic, slightly spartan, but comfortable enough.

Summary: I choose this hotel mainly since the prices this weekend was insane in Cologne. It is about 15 min walk from the S-bahn that takes you to Cologne or Dusseldorf. Not a hotel i would like to spend a lot of time but worked well for sleeping and had a decent breakfast.
