Summary: The hotel is becoming dated and that evident in the room we stayed in. Good size room but the bathroom has seen better days. It was fine for a single night but wish we had stayed somewhere quainter. Good to have parking on site. The town and castle were the highlights of the stay, we had to find somewhere for dinner as the restaurant was closed.

Summary: Lovely location. Friendly staff. Shame it was not directly on the river as implied by the photo. Excellent food and great atmosphere.

Summary: The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the town. Easily walkable to the castle. It has its own free parking in a lot a short walk away. (Initially we didn’t know this and found parking tricky on a busy Sunday afternoon). Our room was really spacious, with quality furnishings and a big bathroom. It was a little old fashioned, but in a charming way. Dinner on the terrace was a highlight. The food, service and atmosphere were great. It’s clearly a popular spot. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Summary: Perfectly located and cute hotel with a good restaurant. Only downside of our stay was that we were staying in the family room on the ground floor, where also the breakfast delivery was. There was a lot of noise from the hallway when the carts with breakfast were delivered. The sound of moving chairs on the floor above us (breakfast area) was very loud. The bathroom light and ventilation go on and off automatically which is great, but it takes too long for them to shut off. Especially during the night it’s annoying the light and ventilation stay on for 15min..
