Positive: Amazing location and chalet style rooms were lovely
Negative: As we had dogs with us, and the dining area was out of bounds for dogs we did not make use of the dining facilities. As a suggestion, using the lovely bar area as a dining and breakfast area for those with dogs may be a thought.
Summary: Amazing historical area and this hotel is in the thick of it!

Positive: Large ground floor room (but not as big as the one we stayed in last time). Comfortable bed. Outstanding staff - very friendly. Very decent restaurant.
Negative: Breakfast choices lacked fresh fruit options.

Positive: Elegant hotel at special historic site. Nice staff, good quality of dinner. Building has esthetic quality.
Negative: Curtains let the sun in too early (at the side), light comes also in under the door of room nr. 1.This room is located near kitchen and service area, this leads to some disturbance of night-rest. Fence around swimming-pool and shower outside needs update.

Positive: The setting was very pretty, and everything was well cared for with lovely gardens. Good location for visiting the area. The room was comfortable, and easy to walk to on the flat. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices The staff were lovely, very helpful and kind
Negative: There were a few minor things in our room that would have made it more useable eg. Hooks in the bathroom for robes or towels near the shower. Somewhere to put toiletries in the shower. A handbasin in the toilet. We were a bit disappointed with the evening meals, for the same price we have had more interesting food. There was a distinct lack of vegetables. However, it was very convenient not to have to go out after a day sightseeing, and it was all cooked beautifully.
Summary: I would recommend this hotel as an excellent place to stay to visit the local attractions. Lovely staff and comfortable
