Summary: I was in a double room overlooking the Rhein, with a balcony, though if leaving the door to the balcony open it did get a little noisy, though I probably wouldn't have noticed it had I not been travelling solo. There was a small fridge in the room suitable for cooling drinks, storing medication etc. There was no kettle, though to be fair I didn't ask for one either - so they may be available? Housekeeping undertaken on a daily basis. The hotel entrance is directly opposite the kiosk for the Lorely Line - short river trips, with some commentary in German, English and Chinese (on the trip I took). A typical buffet breakfast available. All of the staff I had contact with were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the station - around half a mile - took me 10 minutes (in either direction) with a significant lung complaint reducing my stamina.

Summary: Loved this cozy, retro hotel right on the river. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a huge modern bathroom. Splurge for a balcony with a view of the Rhine. Staff was kind and helpful at offering touring options. The breakfast buffet was the largest I've ever seen with many hot and cold selections. Would definitely stay here on a return trip.

Summary: Nicely located along the river. No answer trying to contact the hotel prior to arrival using hotels.com messaging. Room provided has low cost youth hostel vibes but at a premium price. Much better deal to be found elsewhere around the area. Would avoid if possible.
