Positive: The location is great if you want to visit Su Naraxi. Staff is very nice. The property is charming.

Negative: The restaurant does American style bbq dishes at night. Food is good but not what we wanted in the middle of Sardinia. Would have preferred Italian food. Room is rather gloomy but clean and ok for one night. We didn’t try the pool so cannot comment on that.

Summary: Convenient to visit Su Naraxi.

Positive: The room was colorful😀. The hotel is decorated with lively photos of “before” and “after”. The garden is spectacular (the origin if the hotel’s name). Dinner was made to order on the grill out in the garden.

Negative: The internet didn’t work in the room, only out in the garden and in the restaurant. And there was more smoke around than we liked.

Positive: Lovely old hotel with lots of charm and character. It’s important to help towns like Barumini survive so it was nice to stay there and explore the area. Breakfast was extra and well catered for.

Negative: We weren’t quite sure if it was a restaurant as well and language was a bit of a barrier so we ate out. When we arrived someone there told us the hotel was closed.

Positive: Beautiful old house well situated. Gardens and inside were a bit dilapidated.

Negative: The restaurant was shut and not mentioned on the website. However we were given the name of another good restaurant. Shower was tiny not for “big people “ !

Positive: I chose this hotel as they have a restaurant and as we were arriving late in the day that was handy. The hotel is pretty with a large peaceful front garden. Dinner was good, as was the breakfast (7.50). It's easy to park right outside and you are minutes away from the archaelogical site.

Negative: It's a small thing but the bathroom fan is like a plane running so maybe it needs a little maintenance?

Positive: The hotel has kind staff and a good restaurant for evening meals and breakfast. It is also in a good location for visiting the Nuraghe at Barumini. The town is very small and charming.

Negative: Our room was quite dark.
