Summary: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel has to have the best view of the river in the city. The outside veranda was the perfect spot for a welcoming beverage and the walking area around the peninsula was right nearby. Wonderful location and wunderbar staff and owner

The owner and staff were exceptionally attentive and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely perfect—nestled right along the beautiful Inn River, offering peaceful and tranquil views. It was wonderful to simply sit and take in the scenery. On top of that, restaurants and shopping were just a short walk away, making it very convenient to explore Passau. This hotel is a gem, blending history, hospitality, and location seamlessly. Summary: We had a wonderful one-night stay at Hotel Schloss Ort as a family of four with young children. Even before arrival, the reception team proactively called to inform us of everything we needed to know for our Sunday night check-in. The hotel itself is stunning—full of character, with spacious, beautifully furnished rooms. While not specifically designed for families, the unique setting is absolutely worth it with a bit of care. The staff were warm, helpful, and gave us great tips for exploring Passau and a perfect dinner recommendation. They were also very kind and patient with our kids. Breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommended—whether you’re on your way to another destination or visiting Passau itself!
