Summary: Hotel Serenada was great, the rooms were comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed, kettle, air con and great sea views. The staff were great, welcoming and helpful - I would especially like to say that Sylvie who worked there and also did breakfast was amazing, she was so friendly and absolutely brilliant at her job. The location was perfect - Algajola is more quiet than the other towns on the coast - it is between Calvi an L’ile Rousse which are lovely places to visit but are more commercial and busy and we loved going back to Algajola where there were plenty of great restaurants to chose from The train takes you along the coast and is quite cheap but it is busy and on a hot day it’s much nicer to jump in a taxi with air con for a bit more money. We went on a boat trip with Corsica and Boat - the hotel helped us book it and we met them in the next bay just 5 minutes away. Transfers from the airport can be expensive, we booked a car for £108, even if you only use the car for transfers you are saving a lot of money in taxis of hours on the train. We stayed in the annex of the hotel just a short walk down the road which didn’t bother us at all but one thing that didn’t impact us but might some people is that there is no WiFi there - only at the main hotel if you have teenagers it might be worth paying extra and staying in the main hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and myself would love to visit Corsica again.

Summary: We stayed in the annex and it is important any guests with limited mobility be aware there is no lift in that part. We loved the area - so relaxing and so much to see and do especially with a car.

Summary: It is the most desirable place on the beach you can think off. Your bed in a good room with everything necessary. DOWNSTAIRS A CHOICE OF "GOOD FOOD" RESTAURANTS INCLUDING THE HOTEL'S RESTAURANT. AND A STAIRS TO THE BEACH WITH FREE STAIRS AND PARASOLS.

Summary: The stay was very good, nice beds, everything was spotlessly clean every day, good breakfasts with nice hosts (maybe a bit more day to day variety would be welcome) but especially for the price it was fantastic. Hosts were very nice and considerate. Plenty of parking space.

Summary: Within 10 metres of the beach with amazing views if you have a room facing the sea. Staff are really friendly and helpful and food is great. Loved this place and wish we had stayed longer

Summary: We stayed in a great mini suite directly in front of the sea. We were in an annexe building that a short walk away from the main building. The building itself is slightly old but very confortable and close to excellent restaurants.

Summary: We stayed in the annexe (not 60 m) but just over 200 m away, but this was not too much of a problem as the walk was along the sea front past other hotels and an old seamanship chapel. You go to La serranada for the location. It's right on a beautiful beach with beautiful views. The service, especially from the ubiquitous Maria was excellent. The breakfast, extensive and served to your table was first class, but why charge an extra 2€ for this? Either include in the price or charge an extra €8-10, which would be it's true value. We stayed 6 nights. The first in a small room on the first floor. - not very good! But we're then moved to a lovely spacious room on the second floor. We wee advised that our first room was the last available, so again this was not a problem. The small town is great and 5 mins walk and the locality fantastic. Altogether we loved the place and would love to go their again
