Positive: The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast as really good and there was free parking. There is a spa, which we didn’t is as we were late arriving but it all looked lovely.

Negative: We were placed on the top floor and there were very loud crickets on the roof. We asked to be moved to a room in a lower floor but were told they were full and were given earplugs. This was fine until we were woken within an hour of going to sleep by an extremely loud noise, which was another cricket which was as loud as an alarm. When we put the light on, it immediately stopped. Turned the light off to go back to sleep and it started again. It was in our room so we had to sleep with the light on all night to get any sleep at all! We mentioned this to the staff in the morning, who appeared completely disinterested, although we appreciate this may have been due to a language barrier.

Summary: Don’t accept a room on the top floor and it will be very nice.
