Positive: The aircon was good, albeit old, I would struggle to sleep without earplugs. Good location and you can also check in anytime. There is plenty of parking available. The room smelled nice when we checked in, it gave the impression of cleanliness. There are paper slippers and bath robes, in addition to the standard amenities.
Negative: The room was 3 stars, not 4. There were drawings of the stars in the room and although 4 were drawn, only 3 were coloured inside. The price and everything we checked online reflected a 4 star room, so we felt deceived. The safe did not work. The shower was leaking and it had mold spots around it. The mattress was quite soft and old, it had a big dip in the middle. Since the mattress dips, you touch the sides of the bed, which I doubt are being cleaned. There was only one pillow available and it gave me a stiff neck. Very expensive for what it is, but they can do it because they’re the only hotel. I rented a flat in a new aparthotel in a bigger city for the same amount of money (also in Romania).
