Positive: Out of our 2 weeks along the northern coast of Spain, this was one of our favorite places to stay! Beautiful hotel that is both historic and modern at the same time. We found it wonderfully located. The breakfast was definitely the best we had during this trip. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful aspect. There are really lovely common spaces as well.

Positive: Lovely, funky interior design. Very comfortable beds. Excellent location for access to shops, restaurants and beaches. As a single female I felt safe walking to and from the hotel in the evenings.
Negative: Due to central location, there is unavoidable noise from nearby restaurants and traffic on the small surrounding roads. To be expected in a town centre location.

Positive: Spotlessly clean hotel with a cool interior design.
Negative: We had requested a double room with balcony when booking. On arrival we were given a twin room and told that there were no available double rooms with a balcony left. There seemed to be very few guests in the hotel during our stay. It did not look busy at all.

Positive: During our 4 days visit to Santander we stayed at Sol Boutique hotel. Located in a quiet area but walking distance to the bubbly restaurants streets in Santander, Sol Hotel Boutique offered us a relaxing stay. The lounge area in the first floor was a plus as well as the Sonos speaker in room - allowing us to wake up with cheerful music and start our day on a positive note.
