Positive: We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has an amazing viewpoint (it is on the hilly part), especially if you get the mountain facing room, which the hotel was kind to accommodate; and the access tunnel (+elevators) from hotel down to the center of the town is such an asset! The amenities are good, the staff incredibly kind and friendly, the breakfast was good too. We were 3 adults and our room was very comfortable. The mattresses were mid-firm (personally we prefer). The hotel is well maintained and clean.
Negative: The rooms in the old section are charming, and some portions could use an upgrade, but we had nothing to complain about.

Positive: The best part was the view from room balcony. It was amazing, the best view of Engelberg can be experienced in this hotel only. Location of the hotel is great, 5-7 min walk from Engelberg train station. Staff was great, Ms Mukta Aktar gave us early check in , she is very kind & sweet.
Negative: Wifi didn’t work in the room otherwise everything was perfect. Even when we called at reception for wifi, they said it doesn’t well in the rooms.
Summary: Value for money definitely.
