Positive: The location and the pool were fantastic. Incredible location for Tikal and the bungalow was lovely apart from the lack of hot water.
Negative: There was no hot water in our room for two days. All the fish options from the menu were not available during our stay. The hotel shuttle bus was literally twice the price of other shuttle buses making the exact same journey!
Summary: Location and pool fantastic but no hot water of fish and over priced shuttle mean it does not fulfil its potential.

Positive: I was incredibly lucky to be upgraded to a bungalow, because of renovating my room. Absolutely loved the place, with the spider monkeys already showing off in the garden.

Positive: Incredible location 5 minute walk from the Tikal entrance. The gardens and pool were lovely! Lots of birdlife.
Negative: The shower was terrible, a little trickle of water. The room was clean but very tired and need of renovation. The food was average.

Positive: Excellent location, a very short walk to the entrance of Tikal National Park. Very peaceful at night with lots of nature sounds and sights. Lovely pool and garden. Great food, breakfast and dinner both delicious! Staff at reception very nice. Be prepared to charge your appliances at the reception desk since there are no plugs in the room, only 2 USB slots.

Positive: There’s a lovely swimming pool - which is very welcome after a day’s hiking. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Negative: There is no aircon in the room we stayed in. There is a big ceiling fan, but the power cuts at 9pm, so if you find it hard to sleep in the heat, this might not be the place for you. The electricity is only available in the morning and evening, so our phones kept running out of power - bring a fully charged battery pack.
