Positive: The hotel was situated on the middle of Durbar Square, being able to see the sunset over the temples from the roof was amazing. The staff was super helpful and responsive to our questions prior to our arrival.

Negative: No con, just a heads up: As the hotel is situated on the Durbar Square you need a ticket to enter that part of the city. You can get multiple day entrance if you bring a copy if your passport to the desk.

Positive: Great hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is right in the historical area. Its worth spending a relaxing couple of days here and exploring the square at your leisure. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Traditional. (Unrelated to the hotel itself, be sure to carry your ticket to the square with you. If you wander anywhere near the entries/exits you will be pounced on like they've spotted Ronnie Biggs. At any rate at more than $20 AUD it's not a fee you want to pay more than once.).

Positive: Fantastic location, right next to Durbar Square. Everything is within walking distance. The window in the room was very beautiful and classic. The rooftop is amazing—you can enjoy your breakfast with a view of the square. ❤️ The staff were also very helpful. I had a really late flight on the day I checked out, and they kindly allowed me to have a late check-out for my convenience. I really appreciated that.

Negative: The room lighting was a bit dim. You’ll need to walk out of the square to get a taxi🤣 but not a big deal .

Positive: Great hotel. Room was nice and spacious and staff were really kind and helpful.

Negative: With the hotel being in Bhaktapur Durbar Square expect to have to pay entry (1800 ruppee for foreigners) to the site. Something i was not aware of before I booked and was a bit of a shock at first.

Positive: Lovely Hotel in Bhaktapur. Very nice and spacious room. Good hot shower and nice bathroom. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace. The breakfast was very good as well (Tea, Coffe, Eggs, Toast, Fruit, Curd, Granola). Overall a great stay. Just a side note: you need to pay an entry fee to enter Bhaktapur 15 USD per Person.

Negative: The room was quite cold. But the AC has a heater function which helped a lot.

Positive: Charming hotel right next to Durbar Square with amazing terrace overlooking the main square. The room was nice and comfortable, nice breakfast but what really made the difference was the lovely and helpful staff. Rajesh especially has been extremely kind and assisted us when we felt sick! He is a plus and deserves 5 stars!

Negative: The room was a bit dark and cleanliness can be improved. It can be noisy at night due to the many dogs in town but good ear plugs can solve the issue.
