Negative: The room had an unpleasant smell (406). I had to sleep with the window open (in november). I arrived late and I was staying for only one night, so i didn't complain. The bed was uncomfortable.

Positive: This was an experience above expectations. Cheapest rooms in the city, yet well renovated; recent upgrades of the elevators, rooms and dining. Massive breakfast (pay the night before for 5o% discount)L and excellent responsive staff, couldn’t fault it at all. The parking is right outside your front; and the location in the dead center of town with lovely views either across the Danube, or down the main pedestrian area.

Summary: Extremely pleasant surprise, centrally located, renovated Soviet era hotel.
