Summary: It was fine for a one day stay. Staff were really great. The airport and cruise shuttle made it easy for transport.

Summary: The hotel has a quiet location a bit up in the city. The hotel is old fashioned, but it is clean. The receptionist is very helpfull. Our family stayed in a family room at the top floor. It was more like an apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen area with sink, small refrigerator, microwave oven and a washing machine. The washing machine was really good to have during the warm summer to wash the clothes. Also there is a shared roof terrace with a drying rack. Then to the cons. The most negative thing was the poor aircondition. There are ACs in both bedrooms and in the kitchen, but even when they are set to the minimum temperarure we were sweating all the time inside the room. Also outside of course since it was 35 degrees outside in the summer. So it was hard to sleep because of the heat. The breakfast was very limited. Some cakes, cereal or bread with one type of cheese or meat. The scrambled eggs and bacon were better than usual in hotels. But the alternatives were few, so a bit boring for more than one night.

Summary: This is a family hotel, and our host whose name was, Johnny, couldn’t have been more helpful. He made reservations for us at restaurants and on the hop on hop off tour bus. He was very helpful in directing us throughout our two nights stay. The bowel driver was prompt and picking us up at the airport even though we had aneven though we had a four hour delay from Newark airport and once again, the driver was just as prompt taking us from the hotel to our cruise ship. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The hotel was located in a quiet part of town with a grocery store nearby. The room is clean but a bit dated. They provide a complimentary continental buffet breakfast which was quite good. The staff are friendly and very responsive to your needs. There are restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk.

Summary: The hotel help was excellent. Helping with the language exchange. A contential breakfast was provided, transportation to the airport was arranged. Stored our luggage till checkin. No English TV stations

Summary: The room and the hotel were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very varied, it was very rich, better of all, it was close to the port of the cruise, the employees were very friendly and helpful, all very good.

Summary: We stayed given it was close o the port and I had to book 3 rooms. There was lots of room in these rooms. They are a bit odd as some have two bedrooms even though not clearly articulated in the site. Could have booked fewer rooms! Price was right and includes breakfast

The hotel is wonderfully located—just about a 10-minute walk to the charming Old Town area. Staying here felt like an authentic Italian experience. While the hotel is a bit dated, it is extremely clean and well-maintained. The daily breakfast was fantastic, offering a perfect variety of hot and cold options, along with fresh pastries. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any request. Booking transfers to the port and airport was stress-free and handled very efficiently, which made our travel much smoother. We would definitely recommend Hotel Traiano for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Civitavecchia!
